Anna Rigoni, Italian pianist, is currently studying Piano Performance at the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington with Roberto Plano, and she finished her studies with Lilya Zilberstein at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. She has recently been selected during the Chigiana Summer Festival to play Schumann Concerto in A minor op. 54 with Orchestra Senzaspine in Teatro dei Rinnovati, Siena, for the final concert of Daniele Gatti's class. Winner of the Young Artists Piano Solo Series in Rome, she had the opportunity to play in a tour of concerts in Italy with Roma Tre Orchestra under the baton of Massimiliano Caldi. Her performances took place in prestigious festivals and venues such as, Festival Pianistico Internazionale di Brescia e Bergamo, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Palazzina Liberty in Milano, Palazzo Leoni Montanari, Palazzo Cordellina in Vicenza, Teatro Palladium in Rome, Palazzo Ragazzoni in Sacile, Palazzo Chigi-Saracini in Siena, Castello Oldofredi for Iseo Classica in Iseo, Bernard Haitinkzaal in Amsterdam, National Čiurlionis School of Art in Vilinius, Rotes Salon in Vienna. She hold a solo recital in Teatro delle Clarisse, Rapallo, as First Prize Winner at IV Concorso Pianistico Internazionale “Andrea Baldi” in Bologna, and she has recently selected to perform for the American Liszt Society. She took part in masterclasses with Massimiliano Ferrati, Wolfram Schmitt Leonardy, John O'Conor, Benedetto Lupo, Boris Berman, Stefania Redaelli, Mariagrazia Bellocchio, Riccardo Zadra, Roberto Prosseda, Alexandar Madžar, Andrea Bonatta, Matti Raekallio. She is currently teaching as Associate Instructor at the Jacobs School of Music, Bloomington, Indiana.
