Tiago Rosário has began studying music at the Conservatório Regional do Baixo Alentejo, in Beja, Portugal, when he was 4 years old, having started to study piano at the age 6. Later he entered the class of professor José Azevedo Souza, at the same conservatory, with whom he studied until June 2012.

In October of the same year he moved to Lisbon to study with Ana Valente at Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional, having completed his 12th grade in 2015 with the maximum scores. Also in 2015, he was admitted in the class of professor Vladimir Viardo in the University of North Texas and in the class of professor Pedro Burmester in Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo, where he enrolled and finished in 2018 with the highest distinctions. In that same year he started his Master in Performance at the Musikhochschule Münster, in the class of Heribert Koch, having finished in 2021 with the maximum score. In that same year he was admitted with merit scholarship at the Mannes School of Music in the class of Jerome Rose, where he currently is.

Tiago has participated in various competitions. He has been in the eliminatories of the 30th edition of “Prémio Jovens Músicos” and in the finals of the Concurso Jovem.com 2015. He has won several prizes, including the 1st prize in Concurso Czerny 2014, the 2nd and 3rd prizes in the international competition “Cidade do Fundão” and an honourable mention for outstanding performance at the NTD piano competition 2022 in NYC.

He was a member of the trio “Triòkovich”, who won the 2nd prize in the 28th edition of “Prémio Jovens Músicos”, and a member of the quartet “Quarteto Werther”, who won the 3rd prize ex-aequo in the Chamber Music International Competition “Cidade de Alcobaça” 2015.

Tiago is also a founding member of Rosário Quartet, which was founded in 2016. This quartet was invited to play in the "In Spiritum" music festival at Oporto, in May 2017.

Tiago has an extensive performance experience, having played in worldwide acclaimed venues, such as the Carnegie Hall and the Merkin Hall, and embarked in extremely challenging projects, such as the recording of the Complete Chopin Etudes and the recording of Messiaen's Quatuor pour la fin du temps.

Along his musical journey, he studied with such personalities as Claudio Martinez Mehner, Paul Badura-Skoda, Naum Grubert, Paulo Oliveira, Miguel Henriques, Miguel Borges Coelho, Paulo Gaio Lima, Xavier Gagnepain, Roberto Peréz and Eurico Carrapatoso.

Besides his classical formation, Tiago also shined in other areas, such as jazz, having studied with Christian Kappe (Germany) and Uri Caine (NYC), and cinema, having studied at The New School (NYC), releasing two short films: "The Call" and "The Session".
