Ph.D. Nguyen Visha was born in Vietnam and received her music education in Moscow, Russia She has won many prestigious international piano competitions. Among them are 1st prize at the Rubinstein International Competition (Paris, 2008), 1st prize at the Russian Conservatory (Paris, 2009), 2nd prize at the International Olympic of Arts (Moscow, 2011) and 3rd prize at Scriabin’s International Competition in Moscow (2012).

Dr. Nguyen has a tremendous performing career: She performed regularly in Russia at the Grand Hall of Moscow’s Conservatory, Moscow’s Philharmonic Hall, Mariinsky’s Theater Concert Hall, and abroad (Netherlands, France, Spain, Vietnam)

She performed 2nd Chopin’s and Schuman’s concertos with National Symphonic Orchestra in Hochiminh city’s Conservatory (2010). In the same year she was invited to perform 2nd Chopin’s concerto with string quintet at 20-year’s celebration of Moscow musical newspaper “Musical review”.

Since 2014 pianist deeply dedicated herself to music by J.S.Bach, and released 4 CDs of 48 Preludes and Fugues that were recorded at the Grand Hall of Moscow Conservatory. Dr. Nguyen often performs Bach's Partitas and The Golberg Variations. So far she’s the only Vietnamese pianist who played and recorded all compositions that were mentioned above. She’s also the only pianist who performed all Partitas in one concert in Moscow, Russia (2022).

In 2019, Ms. Nguyen became a Doctor of philosophy in History of art and started working at the Moscow Conservatory as a piano educator. But due to the war in Ukraine, she and her husband made a decision to move to USA, leaving her flourishing career in Russia.

In USA she continues her performing career with recitals as a solo artist, as well as duets with her husband - legendary pianist Mikhail Voskresensky.
