Bella Lei is currently a fourth grader at Nuopei Elementary School in Dongguan, China.

In 2021, she was the Gold Award Winner in the “Macau International Piano Invitation Competition”, preschool group. In 2022, she was the judging panel’s Special Award Winner of the Chopin International Youth Piano Competition.

Bella studies with her mother, pianist Ouyang Wenqing of China, and Dr. June Xiao of Mannes Precollege in New York.

Bella loves reading, playing badminton and goofing around with her two younger siblings, who are also pianists.

Bella will be making her solo debut at age 9 at Klavierhaus in NYC.
