Eri Yamamoto has not only achieved impressive results as a finalist in the Grand Finale of the NY F. Liszt Competition at the Stern Auditorium Perelman Stage (concerto) and at the Weill Recital Hall (solo) of Carnegie Hall (NY), as well as in the Liszt Society Piano Competition (GB), but she has also won numerous prizes and awards. These include the Absolute First Prize at the 'Citta di Barletta' Competition (Italy), the 1st Prize at the Euterpe Int. Piano Competition (Italy), the 2nd Prize at the G. Gershwin International Piano Competition (NY, USA), the Rosalia de Castro Special Prize at the international piano competition 'City of Vigo' (Spain), which awarded her the opportunity to record a CD, the 2nd Prize at the M. Ravel International Music Competition (France), and the 2nd Prize at the Putra International Piano Competition (Malaysia), as well as prizes in other competitions across Europe and Asia.

She has performed at prestigious venues such as the Opera City Recital Hall (Tokyo), Hakuju Hall (Tokyo), Munetsugu Hall (Nagoya, Japan), Suntory Hall Blue Rose (Tokyo), the opening concert of the Chopin Summer Festival (Poland), the Chopin Birthday Festival (Warsaw), Kohtla-Järve Kultuurikeskus Hall (Estonia), Tallinn City Hall (Estonia), the "Stipendium Hungaricum" ceremony in the presence of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban (Budapest), the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Summer Festival (London), the Wiener Saal at the Mozarteum Foundation (Salzburg), the Main Hall of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music (Budapest), the Liszt Hungary Cultural Institute (Tokyo), Hungary’s national Night of Museums event - performing on the Dohnanyi's historical curved piano (Budapest), St. James's Piccadilly (London), the National Physical Laboratory Music Society (London), Westminster Music Library (London), Pushkin House (London), Liszt Institue Hungary Cultural Centre (Tokyo and London) and for radio broadcasts such as FM Yokohama, FM Tokyo Radio, and Bartók Radio (Hungary). She has also performed at Abbey Road Studio (London) and became an artist for the Edelweiss Piano, specializing in their self-playing pianos (UK).

She has collaborated with leading orchestras, including the Orchestra of St. Luke's conducted by Gábor Hollerung, the Szolnok Symphony Orchestra conducted by Masahiro Izaki, the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, and the Mihail Jora Bacău Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ovidiu Balan, as well as with the Minato City Ballet Orchestra.

Eri is also dedicated to chamber music. She achieved great success in a duo concert with clarinetist Richard Stolzman in Tokyo and delivered an exceptional duo performance with a violinist for Hungarian Radio. She has performed at Marylebone Parish Church and the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall. Together with cellist Gonçalo Pires, she won the 1st Prize at the International London Classical Music Competition (GB) and the 3rd Prize as "Trio Primo" in the CPO International Music Competition (chamber music category). She also performed in a duo at the C. Gulbenkian Conservatoire (Portugal).

Under the tutelage of Nádor György, Orsolya Szabó, and Julian Jacobson, she developed her exceptional musical talent. She was also significantly influenced by masterclasses with Andrea Bonatta and Cyprien Katsaris. In addition, she participated in masterclasses by Pavel Gililov at the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum University, and by Stanislav Ioudenitch, William Grant Naboré, and Alvin Chow at the Lake Como International Piano Academy. In 2020, she was selected to participate in the "Piano Academy Eppan" in Germany.
